The steelhead fishing has been absolutely phenomenal so far this year. Hooking into a dozen+ is pretty much the regular for us with some days better and some days worse. We're back into our normal winter trends with lots of snow and cold weather. Most steelhead are located right now in the big deep slow holes where they don't have to use a lot of energy to move for food. Float fishing with egg sacs, stoneflies, and various colored jigs have provided the most success to us over the last few weeks. Back trolling lures has been a pretty productive too.
